A Relationship to Place
In "A Relationship to Place," Philippe Dwyer explores cross-cultural identity and its various forms within the hybridized person. He investigates this concept through the use of textiles as info-graphics to discuss and tell stories of this new multicultural generation. Using weaving as a form of storytelling, Dwyer weaves flags as a depiction of place to represent the hybridization and the individuals story. Show runs August 26th - 28th.
