A Taste of African Heritage Cooking Class

The Forsyth Farmers’ Market, through a special partnership with Oldways, will continue to offer free “A Taste of African Heritage” cooking classes this spring. These immersive, hands-on cooking classes are designed to celebrate the rich heritage of African cuisine and to promote health-conscious dishes that are deeply rooted in tradition. Attendees will engage in discussions about the cultural significance of the ingredients, learn culinary techniques and take the time to eat, share and reflect. “A Taste of African Heritage” cooking classes are free and open to the public. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
