Archaeology Day at Mosaic, the Jekyll Island Museum
When: Sat., Nov. 16, 12-3 p.m. 2019
Join us for an adventure-filled day with Bruce Piatek, our director of historic resources and resident archaeologist.
Bruce will be delivering a talk on Jekyll Island archaeology at the beginning of the afternoon, and our Education staff will be on hand to help families with their own archaeology dig activity.
Each participant in the dig will discover their very own “artifact” to take home! There will also be various other games and activities for all ages to enjoy.
This event will take place in the Mosaic Tack Room. This event is not recommended for those 3 and under.
