Archaeology Month
In the morning there will be a walking tour that will consist of a brief discussion of the site’s history, an explanation of the layout of the Darien Bluff site and how it was excavated, followed by a tour of the site. In the afternoon, there will be a lecture on the Sapelo Island Mission Period Archaeological Project that has been on-going for the past 12 years.
