Arthouse Cinema: My Neighbor Totoro

One of the most endearing and internationally renowned films, My Neighbor Totoro is a deceptively simple tale of two girls, Satsuki and Mei, who move with their father to a new house in the countryside. Beneath the film's playfulness and narrative simplicity, based on director Hayao Miyazaki's childhood imaginings, lie depths of wisdom and a spiritual reverence for the power of nature. This screening is part of the Studio Ghibli series, celebrating remarkable animated films, and will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles.
