Beyond the Sea: Impressionism and Modern Painting in Europe

Join us as we visit the beaches in France, the streets of Amsterdam and Paris, and the sunny coasts of France, Italy and Spain of a century ago with Alex Mann, Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs of Telfair Musuems. He will share his wide-ranging expertise and provide an overview of the artists and artworks in Telfair's current exhibit, which contains eighteen paintings from the Museum's collection, including many of Telfair's finest paintings by artists, including Gari Melchers, Robert Henri, Frederick Carl Frieseke and their contemporaries.
