Black Male Summit
The event will begin with the morning keynote speaker Tavares Stephens, a poet, songwriter and educator. Nearly 200 standout juniors and seniors from the region, selected by guidance counselors and principals, have been invited to attend academic enrichment workshops and panel discussions, including the topics: dressing for success; playing in the NCAA; getting in to, and paying for, college; personal image; and a guide to becoming a professional.
