Block Kids Building Program Competition

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC)’s Coastal Georgia chapter will host the 8th Annual Block Kids Building Program Competition, which is designed to encourage creative problem solving and to introduce Savannah-area youth to the construction industry. The competition, which is open to elementary school students in grades 1-6, involves the construction of various structures with LEGOS as well as any three of the following items: a small rock, string, foil and poster board. Approximately 60 area students will compete in the 2019 event.
