Boat Building: The Shrimp Boat
This class takes hand building to the boat yard! In this class, we will focus on a low country favorite, the shrimp boat. Learn how to make templates and work with thin slabs. Various surface finishes and display options will also be explored. Our instructor, David Peterson makes one of a kind whimsical boats based on actual vessels. His boats can be found in galleries up and down the east coast. All skill levels welcome. $150/$140 city resident
