Call for Auditions for Collective Face's "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical"

Collective Face Theatre Ensemble, Savannah’s premiere ensemble company, announces auditions for the smash Broadway musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical. This production will be directed and designed by David I. L. Poole, with musical direction by Diane Houseman and choreography by Lauren M. Schwan. Additionally, it’s a co-production between the Collective Face Theatre Ensemble and Club One / Bay Street Theatre. Auditions, rehearsals and performances will all take place at Kennedy Fine Arts Theatre on the campus of Savannah State University. Please use the LAROCHE/SKIDAWAY gate by T.R. Wright Stadium. Auditions will be Wednesday, Jan. 29 and Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. No audition appointments are needed. Callbacks TBA. All those interested in auditioning are asked to prepare 32 measures from two contrasting pop/rock numbers in the style of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert: The Musical. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key; an accompianst will be provided. No a capella or auditions with prerecorded tracks will be allowed. You may be asked to sing from the show.
