Chatham Area Transit public meeting on Thunderbolt stop removal

Chatham Area Transit has scheduled two public meetings to discuss and answer questions concerning the planned removal of 12 bus stops in Thunderbolt, which is outside of the tax district that funds CAT’s operations. The meetings will be held at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Thunderbolt Town Hall, 2821 River Drive. The CAT bus route, 12 Henry, which currently serves the stops, will continue to operate. Buses will continue to travel along the existing 12 Henry route, but will not be able to stop in Thunderbolt.
