Classical Music Performance, Stamps String Quartet

The Stamps String Quartet will perform works by Prokofiev, Part and Mendelssohn. Ensemble members include Soohyun Chae and Lydia Newton violins, Wynne Owre viola and Ruth Stokes cello. Each performer was selected, through a national search and competitive audition process, to attend the Frost School of Music (University of Miami), with a four year fellowship, funded by the Stamps Charitable Trust. They will collaborate as a string quartet during their fully-funded undergraduate studies in order to pursue proficiency in chamber music performance.
