Coastal Stewards Workshop: Citizen Science on the Coast

UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant is hosting a workshop showcasing a variety of citizen science opportunities. Participants will hear form a panel of experts representing universities and conservation organizations who lead citizen science projects focused on monitoring water quality and surveying marine organisms. Hands-on training for different citizen science projects will be provided in indoor and outdoor labs. The workshop is part of the Coastal Stewards Program, a series of environmental education workshops designed to engage adults in stewardship of the Georgia Coast.
