Colonial Women Take Wormsloe

Celebrate the lives and skills of women in early Georgia at “Colonial Women Take Wormsloe.” You are invited to explore the daily experiences of colonial women and learn about their important, and frequently overlooked, contributions to the success of Georgia. Costumed interpreters will demonstrate 18th century women’s skills such as blacksmithing, candle-making, cooking, midwifery, and healing. These women helped make Georgia a successful colony. Come discover their contributions at this family friendly event. This event is included with the site admission fee.
