Comedy Planet: Katherine Blanford

Katherine Blanford has brought her human Golden Retriever presence to stages across the country. The Atlanta based comedian has opened for many topnotchers including Jeff Foxworthy and Ron White. She shares true confessions of a washed up Pediatric Waste Management Specialist (a nanny) and war stories from the front lines of brunch. Her humor has taken her to festivals across the nation including 10,000 Laughs, Burning Bridges Festival and Laughing Skull Festival. You can catch her weekly co-hosting her podcast, Cheaties, with fellow ATL comedian, Lace Larrabee. The juicy series follows two comedians interviewing guests about their personal stories of cheating and being cheated on and helping each other heal through laughter. Cheaties was ranked in Podcast Magazine’s Hot 50 in October, 2020 and May, June, July and August 2021. ------------- Comedy Planet is a monthly stand up comedy series featuring touring headliners from all over the nation, paired with local warm up acts. This series has been running since 2009 when it was created by Stand Up comedian Steve Hofstettor and The Wormhole, in a joint effort to bring more live comedy to Savannah and offer a stage to all of our great local talent. Each show has a different line up, so no two shows are the same. Comedian Derick Marchel produces the show. The Wormhole features a full bar and food menu.
