Dive Into Color! a color mixing workshop

In this workshop students will refine their abilities to see and match subtle gradations in color. Students will bring in or choose a piece of produce or a flower that they find visually stimulating and will be guided through finding dozens of colors in their "monochromatic" organic object. We will explore the divide between what you truly see versus what you expect to see, and we will develop color mixing skills using oil paints to take advantage of the richness and depth of color possible with this medium.
