Eco-Dying 101 with Stella Ranae Von Schmid
In this class of eco dyeing 101, we will discuss the process briefly before we start and talk about the history of natural dyes as our cauldrons bubble, and the magic happens. Students will learn the exciting process, start to finish, of how to take locally sourced leaves and flowers, with the use of natural dyes and pantry items to coax color and print to create a wearable textile works of art. This class meets in the Sulfur Studios 2nd floor Annex which is stair access only.
