Explore the salt marsh habitat with a fun and interactive hike through one of Skidaway Island State Park’s scenic trails. You’ll enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the marsh as we hike through salt flats, maritime forests, and tidal creeks. We will talk about the features of the salt marsh, the plants and animals that call it home, and why this habitat is so important to coastal Georgia. Note that this field trip also requires each vehicle to pay an entrance fee to Skidaway Island State Park. Advanced registration is required.
