Film: The Big Sleep

Kicking off our summer of American Story Classics, Howard Hawks reunites Humprey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in this excellent Film Noir crime thriller. Private detective Philip Marlowe (Bogart) is hired by a rich family. Before the complex case is over, he's seen murder, blackmail, and what might be love. Followed by a post show Q&A with the audience.
