First Friday for Folk Music with Paul Kempkes and Tim Malchak

First Friday for Folk Music by Savannah Folk Music Society offers a fantastic music listening experience: live acoustic music by local artists, low admission fee, alcohol free, non-smoking, secular event, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tonight’s performance features two acts : Act 1 - Paul Kempkes Optometrist by day, musician at heart. Tonight he’ll be playing songs from his solo act, “Dr. K”, featuring songs from the mid-seventies to early eighties. Act 2 - Tim Malchak, a singer/songwriter and former MCA/Universal recording artist. Tim will share songs from his latest album, Just Me and My Guitar.
