Graffiti + Positivity

Blick Gallery Presents: Graffiti + Positivity At Hesse K8 School, art students learned about the history of graffiti. They discussed it as an art form versus vandalism, and whether or not it qualifies as art. Students brainstormed different ideas for positive words or phrases, and then chose one to illustrate with mixed media. Students used drawing techniques to add value to their letters, and used watercolors to complete the composition. The show will be hung in the Blick Gallery for the month of March.
