Help Savannah's Carriage Horses!

When: Sat., July 11, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 2015

Peaceful, community education effort to highlight the inherent cruelty of using horses to pull carriages full of tourists. Here's why: lifespan reduced by 50%, hoof deterioration, heatstroke, hard labor, dehydration, dangerous in traffic, exhaust fumes, unsanitary odors, slaughterhouse bound when lame or spent. There are so many other fun ways to enjoy our beautiful city: Pedicabs, pedal trams, tour buses, and best of all... by foot.
