How Sweet the Sound - A Winter Concert

Join singers Rebecca and Dan Flaherty, pianists Sanford Jones and Joe Francavilla and Unity minister Dale Worley for an evening of some of their favorite pieces. They have selected a broad repertoire of some of their favorite works from the Classical, Romantic and Modern eras, including Brahms’ waltzes, Offenbach’s Barcarolle, Glass’ Mad Rush, and Jones’ songs based on poems by Langston Hughes and others. For movie lovers, film theme songs from Dr. Zhivago, Blue Hawaii and Love Story pepper the program. “If music be the food of love, play on.” - Shakespeare Light refreshments served.
