J.J. Warren

Author J.J. Warren, whose powerful speech about the United Methodist Church’s (UMC) position on LGBTQ+ individuals at the 2019 UMC Special Conference went viral is slated to speak at Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro campus at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 in room 1020 of the Interdisciplinary Academic Building (950 I.T. Dr., Statesboro). Warren will address Christianity and the LGBTQ+ community before signing copies of his first book, Reclaiming Church: A Call to Action for Religious Rejects.
