Kwanzaa Quilt Making Workshop

In the first segment of this two-part workshop, we will introduce/reaffirm Kwanzaa's origin, its link to African Celebrations, and the Nguzo Saba (The 7 Principles) based on the book by Dr. Maulana Karenga, the Creator of Kwanzaa. Attendees will make a quilt square with the Nguzo Saba and symbols to add to their family Kwanzaa decorations. This will be a 10"x 10" quilt square that you will be able to add to each year. All materials for this workshop will be provided by the museum. Multipurpose Room, Carriage House (2nd floor), Savannah
