Landfall: SCAD Summer Sales Exhibition
2015 SCAD summer sales exhibition featuring artwork by SCAD students, faculty, staff and alumni. For this annual thematic and juried exhibition, entries were culled from varied interpretations of the landscape genre. By definition, “Landfall” also suggests a first encounter or arrival, and many of the artists responded to this notion. Diverse disciplines are represented in the show, including painting, photography, sculpture, furniture design, fibers, drawing and printmaking.
