Lecture: Selected Trends in Global Corporate Sustainability

Some say corporate sustainability doesn’t go far enough or is even greenwashing while others point to how much progress has been made by business in adopting sustainability principles. Michael Oxman will discuss his journey to incorporate environmental and social sustainability that began with a focus on risk with the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation. Some examples from his own experience, corporate and societal trends contributing to the field’s increasing relevance, and both challenges and opportunities associated with sustainability will be shared.
