Tania Sammons is a writer, curator, and museum specialist, has written four books, curated two dozen original exhibitions. She served as the director of Telfair’s Slavery and Freedom in Savannah project, which included a 3-day public symposium, a book and an exhibition which she curated, and created the conceptual design for the newly interpreted spaces at Telfair’s Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters.
