After an almost 100-year struggle, women won the right to vote with passage of the 19th Amendment. As divisive as it was galvanizing, the fight for women’s suffrage brought about a revolution in women’s rights. Presented by Dr. Marjorie Spruill, professor at the University of South Carolina, and part of the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia's Voting Rights Speaker Series.
