Let’s Talk Community Discussion Series: Mental Health and the African-American Community

The ELLA Foundation and Savannah State University will host a moderated discussion on mental health issues and barriers in African-American communities. Part of The ELLA Foundation’s ongoing Let’s Talk Community Discussion Series, the town hall-style discussion featuring students and community members will be moderated by Kesha Gibson-Carter and will feature the following panelists: Beverly Jenkins-Aikens, LPC - Minister and counselor; Kimberly Gunn - Mental health advocate, recording artist and founder of The Love & Soul Experience; and Robert R. Jordan - Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools educator and founder of M.A.L.E Dreamers mentorship program.
