Life in Mid-19th Century Savannah
One of the Girl Scout Days at Massie. Participants will create heritage crafts, play traditional Victorian games, partake in a simulated 1850’s school day in Massie’s Historic Classroom, including writing with quill pens and much more. Depending on the level of the scout, students may also complete “chores” such as making candles and butter, or explore some of the historic squares of downtown Savannah on a short walking tour.
