Live in Concert: The Halle Big Band at the Tybee Pier

A free concert by the Big Band from Halle, Germany. Halle is a partner city with Savannah. The band features student and faculty performers from Martin Luther University in Halle. This university is also a partner with the Armstrong and Statesboro Campuses of Georgia Southern University. The band specializes in big band-style jazz, pop standards and original compositions from the 1940's to the present day. The band's international exchange is sponsored by the Teutonic Council of Savannah and supported by the Halle Foundation in Atlanta.
