Nantucket Baskets

When: Fri., Dec. 1, 6-9 p.m., Sat., Dec. 2, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. 2017

Join veteran John C. Campbell Folk School instructor for a class in making your own heirloom basket. All students will be introduced to the basic materials, tools and techniques associated with this type of basketry. Beginning students will make a traditional basket, while advanced students will be able to add a pattern or some color to their basket. All students will complete a basket to keep or give as a holiday gift. Instructor: Gary Marshall.
