National Astronomy Day Celebration
Oglethorpe Astronomical Association hosts this fun afternoon at the Lakeside Pavilion. Skywatching and stargazing from 8-10pm,scale model of the solar system, portable planetarium, safe solar observing, astronomy learning activities, face painting and activities for children from 2-5pm, plus the 1951 classic movie, “The day the Earth Stood Still” at 7pm.
