Oil Sketching the Figure

When: Tuesdays, Saturdays, 6:30-9 p.m. and Tuesdays, Saturdays, 1-3:30 p.m. Continues through May 30 2015

This class will focus on the portrait/figure painted in a single sitting. Students will learn to measure proportions and block in light and shadow shapes to show the form of the model. Students will observe how the instructor conveys space, form, texture and mood through use of value and color choices. (Students will explore color mixing as applied to the figure). Beginners welcome. $270 each 6-week session (includes weekly model fee)
