Cedar House Gallery is excited to announce the upcoming show, “Pit of My Stomach”, a solo exhibition of Kelly Boehmer’s work. Boehmer’s saturated, handsewn, soft sculptures combine yarn, faux fur, glitter, and taxidermy. Inspired by cartoons and art history, her sculptural creatures show a tragic sense of humor, related to the emotional complexity inherent in our relationships, fantasies, and anxieties.
