The Photopoint Gallery, in coordination with the Richmond Hill Downtown Development Authority (DDA), welcomes Lawrence Wayne (Larry Barker) and new novel 'Pittman Creek'.
Pittman Creek follows Darnell Barker growing up poor in a rural setting in Northwest Florida. He is born with a club foot, and deals with overcoming adversity, ridicule, and his journey and adventures into manhood. His star-crossed love affair with the rich girl on the hill, culminates in Darnell’s combat experiences at the Battle of Iwo Jima. It is a moving and poignant portrayal of life during these troubling and overcoming all the odds.
