Poppies & More: Stories from the Great War

Join the Municipal Archives for a special program during which Archivist Kelly Zacovic will share stories that reflect on the contributions and sacrifices of Savannians and Georgians in the Great War. Learn how the red poppy became a symbol of World War I, for whom Hunter Army Air Field is named, how locals supported their soldiers overseas, and how we celebrated the Armistice here at home.
