Raku Japanese Ceramics Firing Technique
Ceramic specialist Clair Buckner leads an afternoon of Raku, the ancient Japanese ceramics firing technique that involves heating ceramic pieces to around 2000 degrees, removing them from the kiln and placing them into an airtight container filled with combustible material. Bring your own work to fire, or select a premade bisque piece to glaze and take home.
