Read United Buddies Backup Training

United Way of the Coastal Empire will host a training at Asbury Memorial Church for individuals interested in volunteering with the Read United program. This training equips backup volunteers to support early literacy in our community—helping ensure every child has a caring adult cheering them on as they learn to read. No previous experience required, just a heart for helping kids thrive. Cheri Dean, United Way of the Coastal Empire Vice President of Direct Services and Impact will offer the training and Helen Downing will speak. Light refreshments will be available.
