Salvation Army Free Thanksgiving Meal

The Salvation Army of Savannah is once again giving back by providing free hot Thanksgiving meals to the community. The Salvation Army is always open and serves around 80,000 meals throughout the year to the homeless. While they usually supply meals to those most in need, Thanksgiving Day is open to anyone who would like a hot meal, many of whom might not have families to enjoy the holiday with. The nonprofit will serve turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, pecan pie, and refreshments to whoever comes through their door.
