Savannah African Art Museum is hosting special marketplaces every Friday leading up to Kwanzaa, an African American celebration of family, community, and culture, celebrated from December 26 to January 1. Each marketplace will include different vendors from the local and regional community bringing patrons unique creative cultural art and goods. The third marketplace will take place December 16, from 12-4 PM, and feature the vendor William Kwamena-Poh, a fine artist and Ghana native. It will be held on the second floor of the Terracotta Gallery, located at 201 East 37th Street in Savannah, and is free to the public.
