SAVANNAH FIGURATIVE EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS SAVANNAH OPEN MODEL AT CUTE TOMATOES GALLERY

Savannah, Ga. - Savannah Figurative opens January 9 at Cute Tomatoes Gallery. The exhibition, curated by Phil Musen, Astoria Jellett, and Isaac McCaslin, showcases Savannah-based artists working directly from the live model. Inspired by McCaslin’s Savannah Open Model initiative, Savannah Figurative presents completed works by eight artists alongside the figure studies that shaped them. Each piece is grounded in firsthand observation of the human figure, often further developed through sketches, memory, and additional references integral to each artist’s process.
