In honor of what would have been Robert Altman’s 100th birthday, join us for a screening of one of the maverick filmmaker’s boldest genre experiments and most stunningly realized works. MCCABE & MRS. MILLER reimagines the western as an unorthodox dreamscape, following Warren Beatty and Julie Christie as two enterprising newcomers to a rough Pacific Northwest mining town who build a thriving gambling and prostitution empire—until their success attracts the ruthless gaze of the robber barons. An introduction by a SCAD faculty member precedes the screening.
