SCAD Savannah Film Fest: Roma

Cleo is a young domestic worker for a family in the middle-class neighborhood of Roma in Mexico City. Delivering an artful love letter to the women who raised him, director Alfonso Cuarón draws on his own childhood to create a vivid and emotional portrait of domestic strife and social hierarchy amid the political turmoil of the 1970s. Preceded by the Icon Award presentation to Emily Blunt and the Vanguard Award presentation to John Krasinski. Q-and-A session with actors Yalitza Aparicio and Marina de Tavira, and producer Gabriela Rodriguez following screening. Part of the SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
