SCAD Savannah Film Festival: Anatomy of a Male Ballet Dancer

When: Tue., Oct. 31, 3:30 p.m. and Fri., Nov. 3, 3:30 p.m. 2017

Brazilian ballet star Marcelo Gomes is widely considered the greatest partner of his or any generation. From his struggle to reach the top of the ballet world, to his complicated relationship with his father, the film takes us on Gomes’ journey from the heart of the Amazon to the most important international stages. Currently at the height of his abilities, Gomes manages his injuries in order to continue doing what he loves.
