Selections from Chrysalis

In 1998, photographer Lyn Bonham began documenting the journey of her children into adulthood. Her honest approach reveals the complexity of shedding the protective chrysalis of childhood. The moving black and white images chronicle the confusion, angst, joy and discovery of maturation, revealing the tension of the process while also celebrating the people they became. Also on display in ThincSavannah are selected works by Art Rise Savannah board members, staff and volunteers, including Sam Beetler III, Randy Akers, Heather MacRae, Catherine Blanch, and Lauren Flotte.
