Skidaway Marine Science Day

Join us for Skidaway Marine Science Day, a can’t-miss event for all ages, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. on the UGA Skidaway Marine Science campus, located on the north end of the island. The campus-wide open house will be presented by UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography and Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary. As part of Skidaway Marine Science Day, the UGA Aquarium will be open to visitors with no admission fee. See behind-the-scenes, encounter live reptiles, tour Georgia's only oyster hatchery, and explore the 92-foot ocean-going R/V Savannah.
