SMF Jazz Academy's Spring Concert

The SMF Jazz Academy, a free, local, after-school jazz program organized by the Savannah Music Festival that instills life-long musical, academic and social skills, will present a special Spring Concert. This family-friendly performance is free and open to the public. The concert will feature live performances by SMF Jazz Academy students, who represent more than 20 SCCPSS elementary, middle and high schools. Following a year of rehearsals and master classes with accomplished jazz artists, students will showcase their musical growth and skills with renditions of the iconic song “Georgia on My Mind” as well as selected works by Alice Coltrane.
