Solemn Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels

The Schola Choir will sing Solemn Evensong and offer a rarely heard work by Sidney Campbell, "Fanfare for Michaelmas Day" which is also known as "And there was war in heaven." This dramatic setting of the text from the book of Revelation imagines the battle between St. Michael and Satan. Music by Katherine Webb and Simon Lole will also be sung. A reception will follow the liturgy in the Green-Meldrim House. Join us as we end the day with prayer and praise on this special feast day. All denominations are welcome!
